Week 4…I can hardly believe it. I feel like this all just started and I really don’t want it to end. This whole experience has made me wish that I had danced all my life-I wish I was one of the professionals that could go on with all this even after the show is done. As much work as this has been, it’s all made me remember what I felt like growing up, being involved in everything I could, being busy all the time. I thought I was happy relaxing and being kinda lazy-but I really think I’m happier when I’m super busy with too much to do and not enough time to do it. Sounds strange I know. Guess I really am just a work-a-holic.

So I just got to set. I went on KTLA this morning-our morning news station down the street. My girlfriend Jennifer is here from Arizona and staying with me. So she’s hanging in my trailer with my dog Winnie right now. I’m in hair…again…I’m going for a medieval style I think today. I’m seeing something very princess-like. I’m still not sure what’s going to happen tonight as far as who I’m dancing with-so that’s really scary. I haven’t seen Derek yet today, so I have no idea how he’s doing right now. I’d love to dance with him tonight, but if it doesn’t happen it doesn’t happen. I don’t want Derek to hurt himself worse. So I guess we’ll all wait and see. Fingers crossed!

I wish I had some more exciting stuff to share with you guys, but my entire week was just rehearsing and making sure Derek was OK. I’m trying to avoid getting sick, because every week here it seems somebody has caught something. Right now Karina is two seats down from me coughing and feeling awful. I feel so bad for her-it’s hard enough just dancing-but dancing sick? I can’t even imagine. Maybe since this is their career it’s feasible for them. I mean, I’ve had to act in a movie when I was sick before. But as I’m sure you know, it’s the hardest thing to work against the way you’re feeling. I think I’m going to be drinking a lot of Airborne today!
